Laughter is the Best Medicine

It's raining, I have a cold and I'm tired and plans keep changing around me. I'm over it.

But then there are the kids. They are often the author of my frustrations but what I love about my kids is that, more often that not, they are the ones that pull me out of my funk. Here are two brilliant examples.

I just sat on my biscuit and it died unceremoniously. At which point, one of the kids announces "Let's take a moment to morn the loss of the biscuit... He was a brave cookie." I laughed....lots.

Then there are the creative products that the kids are designing labels for at the moment (learning about layout and publishing). One product carries the warning "Avoid contact with pigs otherwise they will start speaking spanish and dancing the samba!"

I love my job!

That is so funny. We should write a book of the funny things kids say. They make me laugh every day.
