Plinkerton - Internet Safety Education

A few weeks ago, at an ICT PD day, I came across this iPad app. It gave me a real giggle.
ICT = Information Communication Technologies. PD = Professional Development. For my non-education readers. App = Application (programme for smart phones, ipads, ipods etc.) ;)

This app teaches kids about internet safety in a game like environment. I wouldn't call it an actual game though. More of a guided walk through a story line with a few quizes dotted along the way. It makes a good reading activity and would be suited best to early teens. It has particular relevance to them with jokes like these;
